At the December 8th City Council meeting, the Council voted to update the fee schedule for municipal Water and Sewer services. These changes were made after careful review to ensure the long‑term sustainability of our utility systems and to maintain fair and consistent billing practices across all customer types.

Effective January 1^st, 2026, all Residential, Commercial, and Non‑taxable accounts will follow the same rate structure. The updated rates are as follows:

Water Rates

• Minimum monthly charge for use up to 1000 gallons: $17.00
• Usage over 1,000 gallons: $0.01 per gallon

Sewer Rates

• Minimum monthly charge for use up to 1000 gallons: $28.00
• Usage over 1,000 gallons: $0.022 per gallon

These adjustments help the City provide reliable, high‑quality utility services while planning responsibly for future maintenance and improvements.
