Welcome to Holdingford!

Holdingford may be a small town, but we have a lot to offer. Whether you are a new resident, a current resident or are just visiting; Holdingford has something for everyone. From our Lake Wobegon Trailhead Park, you can bike south across the longest covered bridge in Minnesota, which is located just off main street in Holdingford. Biking north, you’ll see more beautiful countryside that will take you on to Morrison County. You can’t miss Veterans Park, with a city campground, playground equipment, skateboard ramps, lighted volleyball courts, and a softball field just waiting to be used to burn off extra energy. In the center of town is the Soldier's Shrine. Built in 1942, it was the first memorial that was dedicated to the Veterans of World War II in the United States.

Holdingford has an excellent School, several churches, restaurants, assisted living facilities, retail shops and businesses.  Young and old are very important to us here. Come to Holdingford to visit or to stay.   It's a little off the beaten path, but a nice place to be.
