The City of Holdingford will have three elected positions on the ballot this year, including:

Two (2) City Council Seats - 4 year terms

One (1) Mayor Seat - 2 year term

If you are interested in running for office, the filing period for an Affidavit of Candidacy is open NOW; from July 14 through July 28, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

Filing Fee: $2.00

Candidate Eligibility:

To hold elective city office, individuals must be entitled to vote at

any election, at least 21 years of age on the date of taking office, U.S. citizens, and residents of the city for at least 30 days before the election.

Serving on the City Council or as Mayor is a great opportunity to help shape the future of our community. We encourage all interested residents to consider running!
